Learn to read the lanscape and follow the signs of human passage.

Mantracking is the art and science of detecting, interpreting and following the subtle signs left behind by human movement.

It is a skill that combines observation, environmental awareness, an understanding of human behaviour and the ability to interpret the stories written into the landscape.

Our practical, field-based mantracking course introduces participants to both the principles and application of human tracking. Through hands-on exercises and realistic tracking scenarios, you'll develop the skills to recognise, interpret and follow human sign across a variety of environments.

Whether you're completely new to tracking or looking to develop your existing skills, this course offers an opportunity to learn from experienced instructors and discover just how much information the landscape can reveal.

What you'll learn:

* Observation skills - Developing awareness and learning to notice subtle changes in the environment.

* Finding and following sign - Locating, identifying and following evidence of human passage.

* Sign classification - Understanding the categories, characteristics and classification of track and sign.

* Recording and interpretation - Accurately documenting and analysing the evidence you discover.

* Tracking incident interpretation - Reconstructing events and understanding what happened through the evidence left behind.
